RVA-IMC seeks help producing/reading/facilitating our weekly radio show for WRIR 97.3 LPFM, every Tuesday at 12:30pm. No experience necessary, other than a love for justice and a dedication to sharing information across diverse communities as accurately as possible. This may be just the opportunity you've been looking for to get involved in this independent media project.
Currently, the half-hour broadcast takes place LIVE, Tuesdays at 12:30pm, in the studios of WRIR with varying co-hosts and guests. However, we
will soon be in need of new hosts to play the role of friendly, open-minded broadcaster who reads/paraphrases each week's content. We can also produce the show from pre-recorded segments and interviews if the hosts are not available for a live performance.
