Richmond Re-Cycles is a local communinty-oriented bicycles shop located at 2611 W. Cary St. in Richmond,Va. Our mission is to provide low cost bicycles to the community, while teaching people bicycles mainenatance, bicycles riding, and bicycle safety.

We strive on the ideal that bikes are neccessary and important, and that everyone should have access to a bicycle regardless of income, for the benefit of relatively free transportation, but for enviornmental/economic/health issues as well. We are currently working on opening a second space that will involve entirely free bicycle building/repair where our workshops will be held.

This space will be entirely volunteer run and operated and will give the community an oppurtunity to work and learn about bikes. We are excited to expand since currently we are in tight quarters, and it has been difficult to find space to do as much as we would like. Please feel free to stop during our business hours.

Thanks
