Non-violence for the long-haul workshop Saturday

Bill and Sue Frankel-Streit from the Little Flower Catholic Worker will facilitate a workshop on "Nonviolent resistence for the long haul" on Dec. 11th at 4pm at 725 W. Broad. Childcare will be provided.

We'll be doing some basic nonviolence training as well as trying to put our own struggles into some historical context. It's a long haul deal and the better we understand our past and present movements, the more equipped we are for the future. We'll reflect on the work we're already doing and on what more--or less--we could do individually and communally.
We'll also work on sharing and honing our resistance skills. The workshop will include discussion on upcoming plans for the counter-inauguration in D.C. on Jan. 20 as well. We hope it'll be meaningful for both newcomers and old hands.
