Richmond Independent Preservationists call interested parties to demonstrate Tuesday (and possibly Wednesday as the slaughter continues) at the corner of Linden and Idlewood Street. This is to support Affordable and Historic housing for which St. Andrews was given huge sums of money. They are destroying the legacy of the woman who provided the money for affordable housing and destroying the historic pre-automobile city that gives those of us who wish to be free of addiction to the Big Oil and Auto Industry so much freedom of choice.

Formerly Progressive NonProfit Abandons Mission: Demolishing Affordable Housing

St. Andrews Association was given huge sums of money to provide a constellation of services to help the poor that included affordable housing. Now as with Pacifica and NPR, the original progressive vision has been taken over by a board of businessmen who are abandoning the purpose for which they were given a lot of money.
